My most favorite breakfast place is closed on Sundays, so when we do Sunday breakfast I always jump on Yelp to fill the void. I had bookmarked Big Bite Bagel awhile back when it was review of the day, so I figured this was as good a time as any to try. We arrived a little before noon and found seating to be no problem. I was happy that although there were only two of us were were given a 4 top table, as for some reason I always end up with a lot of plates at breakfast. Our waitress was quick to offer us beverages, but the service dwindled a little after that. I stuck with water, and my boyfriend got his normal coffee. Though I don't drink coffee I was impressed to see that the cups here are a little larger than the average diner cup, so there is less time chasing down the waitress for a refill. We perused the menu for awhile and had decided by our waitress was no where in sight. We were finally able to place our orders, but it seemed like too long considering they definitely weren't packed. I ordered my go to of late: lox, egg, and onion with an everything bagel. My boyfriend ordered the cheeseburger omelet as he had a few too many cocktails the night before and needed something greasy and substantial. The waitress asked if we wanted hash browns with that and we both replied yes, though that was a mistake because I always forget that I don't like hash browns (the shredded ones) and I prefer home fries (the cube ones). The food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. When the waitress set down the plates she noted that my boyfriends wheat toast was on the way...however, it never came. He was a little hungover and just happy to have the omelet, but I noticed. Unfortunately the waitress did not return until we had finished so there was no opportunity to correct the issue. As for my LEO it left a lot to be desired. For $10 the portion was quite small compared the the portion I've had for the same meal at a few other places in the area (I was acutally able to finish this one and Rita did not get any leftovers). As I noted I don't like hash browns and these really weren't an exception, though I won't fault them for that. I should have read the menu more carefully and done home fries or grits. The bagel saved the meal by a long shot as it was fluffy on the inside, and chewy on the outside with the right amount of 'everything' coating. Though I'm not completely opposed to coming back and ordering differently, I don't know that it will happen for awhile. My boyfriend was quite happy with his cheeseburger omelet, and that was a good portion, but my overall 'meh' feeling about my meal accompanied by the inconsistent service leave me to say 3 stars, and maybe I'll be back if I'm in the area.

Came here early on a Sunday around 7am way before most people are up and out so there was plenty of seating. They have a few interesting bagel options like sunflower seed, sesame on pumpernickel in addition to a nice variety you're used to. Can't go wrong with a Greek omelette so that was the choice for this morning. Unlike other places this place already has the tomato in with the feta and spinach. Nice! Omelette was good and not overcooked like at many other places. Their potatoes are "red-skins" and unlike football, no offense can be taken here aa they're usually much better than plain ole potatoes. I say usually because although most were darn good, quite a few were undercooked. The pieces are cut kinda large so maybe that's why some didn't cook all the way through. Those that were cooked were tasty, so I'd go back to try again. Bagel wasn't bad at all, but, I forgot to ask for 'toasted' so in fairness I should go back for that too as I feel the bagel is likely even better toasted. If you ask for well-done potatoes they are merely dipped in the fryer instead of left on the 'grill' for a longer period. I'd prefer more time on the grill for more flavor, thorough cooking, and less grease. Service was pleasant, nothing but good there. My Jewish friends will be pleased to learn many of the common choices found in a nice up-north Jewish deli are here to tempt you as well. How about some different flavor cream cheese spreads like Walnut Raisin, or maybe a knish or two, then wash it down with some Dr. Brown! I'll go back as my issues are very small and wouldn't turn me away at all. Oh, and as a side note, an odd but interesting observation, their utensils have a nice heavy feel to them. Not that flimsy crap often used at most places. We've all used that oddly bent fork or spoon when we've dined out and how weird that is, you won't get that here. A small thing, but actually made the experience just a little nicer.

This place is really great for Sunday morning breakfast and any other food you're look for. Never had anything I didn't like :-] Pancakes are the best you'll have.

My wife and I frequent this restaurant and always find the food and service to be exceptional. The servers are always friendly and professional. The food is great and reasonably priced. Lastly, it is a very clean establishment. Brian and Gail

The food is still great here to me. However, the service has gone downhill the last two visits. I've had the same server the last two visits. Yesterday, we came in and it seemed like we had to wait for everything. Every time we needed something our server was standing around having conversations with other servers and not looking around to see if we need anything. We had to motion for her multiple times or simply wait for her to come around. I asked for lemon with my water but did not receive it. She also charged us incorrectly I feel. I ordered "The Mess" for breakfast. The menu describes it as "cheese melted over a mix of scrambled eggs, home fries, and sausage". No where on the menu does it state this does not come with a side. In fact, the menu clearly states that it comes with either bagel or toast, and our choice of oatmeal, hash browns, etc...So I ordered the mess with oatmeal. When the bill came I was charged an extra $2.99 for the oatmeal. The server comes over and tells me that my meal does not come with a side because the hash browns are scrambled in. Well my husband ordered an omelette that came with hash browns and he had at least double the potatoes I had. So if she's correct, where were the rest of mine? This plate was $9.99 for scrambled eggs with some things thrown in and a bagel? That makes it a very expensive breakfast. When I told the server that the menu states it does come with a side she told me "it's written wrong" and we had a miscommunication. She did take the charge for the oatmeal off but I still fail to believe she's correct and if she is, beware ordering this item because it is quite pricey. The last time we were there my husband ordered a Denver omelette which the menu clearly states come with cheese. She charged us for the cheese and I had to get it corrected at the register. I will be definitely asking to sit in a different server's section should I return.

We've been coming here for the past year for breakfast on Saturdays and it was our go to place. The waitresses know our drinks and bring them without even asking. Their brisket sandwich is great and the bread has a great buttery fried taste. My wife loves the fried egg on their home made bagels.

Excellent food! My wife had the eggs benedict and she loved them. I had the homemade deli hash and it was excellent. My bagel was very fluffy and had a great texture. The home fries are just how I like them crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great experience, we will be back.

Cold food and the lady waiting on me and my wife never came by to check if everyone was OK and if we needed a refill or to order something else, she bumped into me didn't say I'm sorry she gave me a dirty look....

I had the 2-2-2-2, and it was delicious! The sausage was to die for, and I usually do not like sausage! I also enjoyed the white macchiato, and it was amazing! Definitely a place for breakfast!

First time here. Met friends for breakfast. Located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. My wife had the Greek Omelette with hash browns $9.49. Said it was good but would have liked the feta cheese to cooked in the omelette, not just put on top. I had the country omelette (link sausage, bacon and American cheese) and grits $9.99. Omelette was good but the server (Karen) brought my grits long before I got the omelette so they were cold when it was time to eat them. I ordered wheat toast (which I had to remind her to bring) and she brought white and I sent it back to be changed. All in all the food was good and if I didn't live 30 miles away, I would probably go back.

Ok so it's your typical diner food...a little pricey from the diner's I remember in NY where you could get bacon and eggs with toast and coffee for 2.99. Of course that was 20 years ago! I learned that it's still the same cook from the last place...just new name, new owners. I had sausage and eggs...The sausage is unique, perhaps even homemade, but not your typical johnsohnville links that you might get somewhere else. Definitely one of the better diners in CC. I give this diner an extra star because they we're able to not over cook my food and/or serve me rotten fruit.

This was Tesser's which was awesome. It has since changed name and owners. The new place looks the same when you walk in. The menu is different from the prior deli. I gave it two stars for a couple of reasons. First it looks unorganized, many people standing behind deli counter as the wait staff is running around trying to get get orders and pass food out as it came out. Second, a waitress had some not so nice things to say as she was struggling to enter orders. Our waitress took over for her. This waitress then spilled a glass of water as she was bringing it to one of her tables. I think this may have put her over the edge. Service over all was poor. We had to ask for refills numerous times only had water and coffee at the table. The food, well let's say the Ruben was not tender at all(chewy). The home fries were so big we had to cut them with a knife to eat them. I will say the eggs were good as was the French toast with corn flakes was tasty. A big thank you to the bus boy he was cool calm and collected. He helped out more then the waitress knows. This is like a Doctors office. Great doctor with bad staff this equals 2 stars. GOOD LUCK to you.

Best breakfast and lunch restaurant in Coconut Creek. Innovative menu, great service, clean and run by owners who truly care about food quality. This is no standard "bagel joint". Five Stars - all earned.

No stars!! I do not like big bite. Food, service and decor same as Tessir's. Wait staff was horrible. Plates and cups were dirty. Way overpriced.

I come in here all the time with my boyfriend and we love it. Sausage egg and cheese on wheat toast with chocolate milk. Always amazing with great service. But this time was by far the worst experience I ever had. It looks like our sandwiches were just thrown together, the cheese wasn't even melted like it usually is. The chocolate milk was beyond gross, way too much syrup with it pouring over the edges of the glass. I asked for lemons with my water and never received it. Was never asked if everything was ok after food was dropped off. Got the food and check at the same time. I come in here at least once a week and disappointed is an understatement. I may have went in 30 minutes before close but come on, customer service is always important. I work in a restaurant myself and even I can't cut this some slack..

This place is a nice find. It's a clean, organized deli where you can sit down and have your meal brought to you. It's wonderful for the days where I can't deal with the chaos of other similar places where I am fighting to get in a long line then trying to find a table. It's easy here, and the service is stellar. Our waitress was nice, incredibly attentive, and just generally left us with a great impression of the place. The food is good - it is a bit higher priced than the like places, but I will say, this is one of the more well kept delis I have been too. It's worth it if you want to sit down and have more of a 'diner' like feel than the order-at-the-counter kind of deal. I ordered a large breakfast, and I feel like it was well priced for the amazing amount of food I got. The cheesey eggs were yummy and well cooked, and I loved their potatoes. They were well seasoned and had lots of the crispy burnt ends I love. The bagel was good too - I enjoyed it better than most and would come back for more. Mu husband weirdly got a grilled cheese, and it was pretty darn delicious. It's a really good place with a lot to offer. There isn't much to differentiate from other places other than the nice, attentive staff who really make the place.

I I love this place. About once a week I get their eggs Benedict. Most of the time I order pick up and it's always fast. Other times I eat there and it's also fast. Very pleasant staff. The waitress with the tattoos is wonderful. Always smiling and great at what she does. Seems like she knows every person that comes in. Also, they have GrEAT orange juice and the coffee is good too. They always full you up before your cup is empty. They've helped me wake up many times when I was dragging. This place is great, especially since I'm new to Florida and used to living in NY and Philadelphia where there are quality delis everywhere. Big Bites is one of the few great delis in south Florida that I know of.

Hubby and I were in the mood for a good breakfast around 10am on a week day so we decided to yelp, and found this place!! Atmosphere was clean and inviting. Service was quick and friendly! I ordered a breakfast special, $4.99 I got 2 eggs and home fries. I added a side of bacon and a bagel. My husband ordered a breakfast sand which on a bagel. And we had to try the potato pancakes. The waitress told us they had bagels in the oven so we got to experience a fresh sesame bagel fresh from the oven, it was scrumptious!!! The bread was fresh thick and soft. Hubs and I will for sure be back, maybe even for lunch too!! We checked in and got $5.00 off our breakfast!! The staff was super accommodating! Great yelp find!

I'm glad I have continued to try Big Bite. Today we had a great brunch. The food is fresh and not greasy like many delis around. Our server was really nice and attentive.

Been to this place many times when it was Tesser's, so I was surprised to find that things had recently changed. The service on a Friday morning wasn't so hot. After we seated ourselves, it took quite a while before someone even gave us menus, and just as long to get our order taken. After that, things perked up. The food was very good, and prices more than reasonable. I hope they take the time to work on their service though.

Went back for take out and got what I always get which is the triple decker turkey club sandwich. It is usually good so me and my wife decided to both get it. When I get home and open the boxes we find that the regular triple decker we usually get was just a regular sandwich with soggy non toasted bread about half the size it usually is but at the same price of $10+.I am a regular at this place and lately have been getting mixed experiences here. I gave them another chance since the owner reached out to me on the last review but at this point I am convinced that the quality has declined. I guess you will have better luck if you eat in there but after several disappointing take out experiences I will not be taking another chance.
